A 162% Weekly Spike, and the Board Still Says HOLD
Crocodile OP14-120 is up 161.9% in a week and Shakuyaku is not far behind, yet both sit on HOLD. A look at why a hot chart and a flagged signal are different things.
If you only looked at the percentage column today, you would think the board had lost its mind. It hasn't. Crocodile's OP14-120 printing is up 161.9% over the past seven days and 135.2% over the past thirty, now sitting at A$24.06, and the Ledger still stamps it HOLD.
That is worth sitting with for a moment. A card can post one of the biggest weekly gains on the board and still carry no buy flag, because the stamp is built from more than a single momentum number. A near-vertical week is a fact about the past seven days. It does not tell you what the next seven will look like, and the data here is a snapshot, not a forecast.
Today's top moves
Crocodile has company. Shakuyaku from the Premium Card Collection Best Selection Vol. 5 is up 150.9% this week and a remarkable 259.7% over the month, now at A$19.85. It is also on HOLD, and it has changed hands 304 times in the last thirty days, so this is a genuinely traded move rather than a thin one.
Stick-Stickem Meteora is up 63.5% on the week to A$35.15. Its weekly and monthly figures match exactly, which tells us the move started recently rather than grinding up over a month. It sits in the thinnest liquidity tier we track, so treat that price as one data point, not a settled market.
Lucky.Roux tells a slower story. It is up 63.4% on the week, on top of a 157.2% thirty day run, and now trades at A$19.46 with over 1,600 sales in the last month. That is a lot of volume behind a PRB02 name, and it has been compounding for weeks rather than days.
Shirahoshi's CS 26-27 Event Pack printing added another 56.6% this week to reach A$88.44. It is a newer product, so there is no thirty day figure to compare against yet, and only 31 recorded sales so far.
On the other side of the ledger, Laboon from the Treasure Cup 2025 promo flipped from HOLD to SELL WATCH today. Its latest price is A$1,528, down 18.0% on the previous reading. One thing to keep in mind: that is a single recorded sale in thirty days, so a move like this says more about one transaction than about a broad shift in demand.
What we're watching
The gap between "moving fast" and "flagged by the Ledger" is the interesting part of today's board, so that is where our attention is. None of the five biggest gainers carries an ACCUMULATE stamp, and all five are still on HOLD. We will be checking whether Crocodile and Shakuyaku hold their new levels over the coming days, whether Lucky.Roux's sales volume keeps pace with its price, and whether Laboon sees a second sale that confirms or undoes today's reading.
As always, this is what the data shows, not a recommendation. Prices are in AUD at today's exchange rate.
