A Starter Deck Trafalgar Law Just Quadrupled, and the Board Still Won't Blink
ST10's Trafalgar Law leader is up 378% on the week to A$25.60, and every one of the five biggest movers on the board is still stamped HOLD.
Some weeks the board gives you a slow bleed. This week it gave us a rocket. The Trafalgar Law leader from the ST10 starter deck is up 378% over the last seven days and 391% over the last month, trading at A$25.60. That is not a typo. It is the same starter deck card plenty of collectors have sitting in a binder or a box somewhere.
The shape of the move is worth a look. Our price history has Law sitting at roughly US$3.45 through September 22, then climbing to US$8.84 on the 23rd, US$15.52 on the 24th and US$17.81 on the 25th. Since then it has been almost flat, at US$17.93 today. Liquidity is rated A with 281 sales in the last 30 days, so this is not a thin market printing one odd sale. Real volume changed hands on the way up.
Here is the part that stands out: it is still stamped HOLD. The system does not hand out an upgrade just because a chart is vertical. A near-vertical spike says something has changed in demand, but it says nothing yet about whether the new price is where things settle.
Today's top moves
Trafalgar Law (ST10-001) leads the board at +378.1% for the week, a starter deck card suddenly acting like a chase card.
Benn.Beckman's OP17 alt art is close behind, up 150.5% this week and 93.2% for the month, now at A$26.76. It is the most liquid of the group, with 2,102 sales over 30 days.
Smoker's OP10 alt art jumped 113.5% this week to A$49.66, matching a 113.0% monthly gain. It is a rare case where the week and the month tell the same story.
"Withdraw Now and Allow Me to Save Face" from the OP17 release event group climbed 112.9% this week and 161.6% this month, now at A$14.86. It has quietly become one of the strongest movers without much fanfare.
Shanks' OP17 alt art rounds out the group, up 95.3% this week to A$73.04, adding to a 69.8% monthly climb.
All five carry a HOLD stamp today. Every one of them is also rated liquidity A, which matters: these are moves backed by a steady flow of sales rather than a single lucky listing. Still, the stamp is the board doing what it is built to do, noting heat without rubber-stamping every green candle.
What we're watching
First, whether Law holds its new level. The price has been flat for four days after the jump, and a plateau like that is where we learn whether the market accepts the new number or drifts back toward the old one. Second, whether the OP17 cards in this list keep their gains as the set moves further from launch,, since both Benn.Beckman and Shanks come from that set. Third, the calendar: the banned and restricted list update lands on October 12, the Elbaf arc finale airs on October 10, and EB-05 releases on October 30. Any of these can shift demand for leaders and staples, and we will report what the data shows as each date arrives.
That is the pulse for today. Keep your watchlists warm, not overheated.
