Belo Betty Nearly Doubles, and the Board Still Says Wait
A wave of alt art gainers posted triple digit weekly and monthly moves today, and almost none of them cracked the buy list.
Belo Betty's alt art print from OP05 is up 95.4% over the past week and 112.6% over the past month, now sitting at A$66.97. That is a near doubling on the week stacked on top of an already hot month, and the card is still stamped HOLD.
This is the pattern collectors are getting used to on this board: strong, sometimes explosive momentum that still does not clear the bar for a buy flag. Our system likes room to run below a prior peak, and it gets nervous about moves that look near vertical, even good ones. That discipline shows up in the numbers: cards flagged ACCUMULATE, the system's actual buy signal, have gone on to gain a further 17.8% on average over the next four weeks and made their case correctly 74.4% of the time, while cards flagged SELL_WATCH have averaged a 6.1% drop over the same stretch. Staying selective has simply outperformed chasing green candles.

Nefeltari Vivi's Judge Pack Vol. 8 print is up 102.9% on the week to A$28.30, the single biggest weekly percentage gain we tracked today, and it is a HOLD too.
Senor Pink's OP10 alt art climbed 92.2% this week and 81.5% this month to A$26.40, another card riding a real trend without a green light.
Luffy's P-080 promo added another 83.4% this week to reach A$103.36, extending a move that has been building for a while now.
Carrot's CS 25-26 Event Pack Finalist version is up 69.3% on both the weekly and monthly windows, now pricing at A$661.09, and yes, still HOLD.
Worth noting on the other side of the ledger: Jewelry Bonney's OP07 alt art flipped from HOLD to ACCUMULATE today, up 21.4% on the week with a much calmer 10.8% over the month, the kind of steadier build our system tends to actually endorse.
Five separate cards posting weekly gains north of 65% in one day, and every single one still parked on HOLD. That is the board telling you exactly what kind of week this was: loud, but not yet trustworthy by our standards.
What we're watching
Two Treasure Cups, in Hampton, VA and Athens, land this Saturday, September 13, and should sharpen demand for whichever OP17 staples come out on top. Five days later, the NA Finals in Dallas hand out the season's biggest wave of prize promos, including the CS 26-27 Event Pack, Finalist Ver., Winner Card Set, and OP14-069 trophy cards, on the same day SD01 releases in English with its own reprint risk for anything it includes. That is a lot of fresh supply and a lot of fresh signal arriving in the same week, and it is worth watching whether it is enough to nudge any of today's HOLD-stamped cards off the fence.
