Smoker Rips 129% and the Board Still Won't Call It a Buy
A wall of triple-digit weekly gains hit the board today, and almost none earned an upgrade. Here is the overheating discipline at work.
Smoker just had the kind of week collectors dream about. The OP10 alt art is up 129.2% over seven days and 127.5% over thirty, now sitting at A$53.32. And the board's verdict on it? Still HOLD. That is not an oversight. It is the overheating check doing its job: a near-vertical spike like this gets flagged as too hot rather than rewarded with a green light, no matter how good the chart looks on a screen.
Smoker was not alone. A cluster of cards posted triple-digit weekly moves today, and the pattern repeated across almost all of them.
Today's top moves
Smoker (OP10 alt art) leads the board at +129.2% this week, a textbook overheated spike still parked on HOLD.
Withdraw Now and Allow Me to Save Face (OP17RE) climbed 114.6% this week and 161.6% over the month to A$14.94. Another near-vertical run, another HOLD.
The ST10 Trafalgar Law starter card is up 106.6% weekly and a striking 394.9% over thirty days to A$26.21. It is a reminder of how far a starter deck card can run when a few things line up, and also of how little the board reads into a move this steep.
Benn.Beckman's alt art added another 102.1% this week to A$24.80, still on HOLD despite the heat.
Shanks (OP17 alt art) jumped 93.3% weekly to A$71.20, rounding out a top five that is all HOLD and all fireworks.
The one exception
Rocks.D.Xebec (OP17) is up 48.2% this week to A$91.64, and it moved from HOLD to ACCUMULATE on today's read. Its thirty-day move is a much calmer 5.7%, which is the difference from the pack above: the rise is recent and measured rather than a spike stacked on a spike. The stamp is a reading of the data, not a promise about where the price goes next.
What we're watching
Whether the triple-digit movers hold their new levels or give some of it back over the coming days, since sharp weekly jumps are the moves most likely to be tested. Whether Rocks.D.Xebec keeps its ACCUMULATE stamp as the week rolls forward. And the calendar: Store Tournament Vol. 4 begins on 1 October, the Elbaf Arc Part 2 finale lands on 10 October, and the banned and restricted list update follows on 12 October. Any of these can shift attention between cards, so we will keep reading the board each day.
Big week for green candles, small week for green lights. See you tomorrow.
