A Serial-Numbered Ace Just Cracked A$14K, and the Sell List Got Shorter Today
A rare serial-numbered Ace headlines a wild gainers list, while a quiet wave of SELL_WATCH cards flipping back to HOLD might be the more telling story.
The number that stopped us cold today: A$14,253.38. That's where the serial-numbered Portgas.D.Ace now sits after a 210.9% run this week.
Serial-numbered cards are a different animal from your average chase card: there's only a handful of each print run in existence, so a couple of collectors deciding they want one can move the price like this. Our system has it stamped ACCUMULATE, meaning the model sees room to keep climbing even after a jump this size. But this isn't a card most of us are trading in and out of. It's a market signal more than a shopping list item.
Today's top moves
Donquixote Doflamingo flipped from HOLD to ACCUMULATE today after a 105.7% weekly pop that's actually part of a bigger 123.2% run over the past month, now sitting at A$69.96.
King out of EB02 also earned a fresh ACCUMULATE stamp, up 27.3% to A$1,060.65, a steadier climb than some of today's fireworks.
Rebecca's Online Regional print is still parked at A$11,460 after a 321.1% week, and the system keeps it on ACCUMULATE rather than backing off, which tells you something about how far this one might still have to run.
Worth watching for the opposite reason: Sabo from OP07-118 jumped 43.8% this week but is still down 6.5% over the past 30 days, and our system left it on HOLD. That's the overheating check doing its job, a sharp weekly spike doesn't automatically earn a buy signal if the longer trend hasn't caught up yet.
The quieter story is in the totals. Sell watch flags dropped from 794 to 764 over the week, and rebound watch climbed from 27 to 35. We also saw a long list of cards flip from SELL_WATCH back to HOLD today, names like Yamato, Edward.Newgate, and several OP16 pieces among them. Historically, ACCUMULATE-tagged cards have finished higher eight weeks later about three times out of four, while SELL_WATCH cards have kept sliding a further 10.7% on average over the next month. A wave of downgrades reversing doesn't mean the correction is over, but it's the kind of shift worth logging.
Keep an eye on the board this week. It's moving fast, even where the price tag isn't.
