Trafalgar Law Flips to Sell Watch as the Board Turns More Cautious
A A$1,160 Trafalgar Law print slid onto the sell watch list overnight, while a handful of event pack promos keep posting triple digit weekly gains. Here is what the data shows.
The board got more defensive overnight, and the clearest example is a big ticket card. Trafalgar Law's Flame-Flame Fruit Coliseum print moved from hold to sell watch, with the price at A$1,159.61 (US$814.33), down 11.6% on the week. The prior reading sat at US$921.25, so the stamp followed a visible step down rather than a gentle drift.
One caution before reading too much into it: this card is thinly traded. We recorded just 8 sales in the past 30 days, so a handful of sold copies can move the headline price a long way. A sell watch on a card like this is a flag to look closer, not a verdict on the character or the artwork.
It was not an isolated move. The sell watch list grew from 681 names to 709 between yesterday's report and today's, while accumulate shrank from 554 to 527. The mix of caution rising and conviction thinning is what a more selective board looks like. Hold still covers the bulk of the catalogue at 6,091 cards, so this is a tilt, not a stampede.
$$ Today's top moves
Up top, the cheap event pack promos are doing the loudest shouting. Ulti from Event Pack Vol. 6 is up 392.2% over the past week to A$16.26, and 293.8% over the month. It still carries a hold stamp. A move that vertical has very little room below a prior peak to work with, which is why the board is not calling it anything more than hold, despite 247 sales in 30 days backing the price.
Buggy from Event Pack Vol. 8 climbed 57.4% this week to A$15.78 on 512 sales in 30 days. Same wave, same hold stamp, and a similar story: lots of activity, but no green light yet.
At the other end of the price range, the special parallel Tony Tony.Chopper is up 33.2% on the week to A$9,734.38 and holds an accumulate stamp. It is also a very thin market, with only 3 sales in 30 days, so the same note of care applies in the opposite direction.
Kyros gained 35.8% to A$753.30 and keeps its accumulate stamp as well. With 2 recorded sales in 30 days, the price is built on very few data points. It does show the board is not blanket bearish today, only choosier.
Lucky.Roux rounds out the list. It is up 52.4% on the week and 227.1% over the month to A$28.69, on 1,590 sales in 30 days. That is real volume behind a big run, yet the stamp remains hold while the pace settles.
$$ What we're watching
First, whether the Law print finds a floor or keeps stepping down, and whether sale counts pick up from 8 a month. Second, whether the sell watch list keeps growing from 709 or stabilises, since two days of change is a short window. Third, the event pack promos: Ulti and Buggy both still sit on hold, and we want to see how they behave once the weekly gains cool. Looking further ahead, the EB-05 release on October 30 and OP-18 pre-release week on November 13 are the next scheduled catalysts on the calendar. As always, this is what the data shows, not a call to act on any single card.
