All three sit at ACCUMULATE, the ledger's steady keep adding stamp, not a headline back up the truck call. That gap between the chart and the stamp is the real story.
The Drum Kingdom common from the Championship 2024 Finalist Card Set jumped from $349.74 USD to $1,799.00 USD ($2,548.62 AUD) on July 29 and has not moved a cent since. That single jump is a 414.4% monthly gain, but the weekly momentum reading is a flat 0%, because the price has been sitting still for almost two weeks.
Rebecca's October Championship 2024 Online Regional print did the same thing on July 27, stepping from $1,900.00 USD to $8,000.00 USD ($11,333.48 AUD) and holding there ever since. Up 321.1% for the month, flat for the week.
The serial numbered Ace from OP07 moved from $3,200.00 USD to $9,950.00 USD ($14,096.02 AUD) on July 26 and has been parked there for over two weeks. Up 210.9% for the month, flat for the week.
The pattern across all three is identical: one big step up, then nothing. That is a tell. Each card carries a liquidity tier of C, the ledger's label for a market with no logged direct sales and a TCGplayer quote that has gone weeks without updating (60 days for Drum Kingdom, 21 for the Ace, 19 for Rebecca as of today). In a thin market like that, a single listing sale or one recorded result is enough to reset the price the whole system sees, whether or not it reflects real demand from a second buyer.
That is why the ledger leans on the weekly reading rather than the monthly one when it decides what stamp to apply. A card that spikes and keeps swinging hard the following week gets treated with real suspicion under the overheating check, since near vertical moves compared to a card's own recent average have historically cooled off more often than kept climbing. A card that spikes once and then simply holds, with the weekly number settling back to flat, reads instead as a price finding a new level rather than a market getting emotional.
